For a Fashionable Fall...Part 1

As we start yet another school year and hope, as the magazines promise, that it will be our best one yet (not ever. If it was your best one ever than what would you do next year?), I can't help but feel a sense of mourning for the summer. No more 12 hour sleep cycles, surfing the web for graphic print tees, or the excuse (or time, for that matter) to get a thousand and one pedicures a month...
OK, that was sad, but now it's over and I have everything you need for a fashionable fall. Read on to find this year's essentials and not-so-essentials. You won't be disappointed.

Sorry I wasn't able to get pictures to show you the amazing stuff at this website, but at http://www.skinit.com you can choose skins for everything from your laptop to you iPod. Definitely the ultimate way to accesorize your electronics.
Speaking of electronics, I can think of no cooler way to work on that English thesis you've put off for way too long than saving it on one of these flashdrives and bringing it to school to work on at lunch.
Find it at:
  • Freshly Squeezed Flash
  • (the owner of this website is having her flashdrives put in MTV goodie-bags as we speak).
Update your wardrobe or just your backpack easily with cute rhinestones or lace. This website features everything from iron-on patches to iron-on Swavorski crystals!
Fire-up your sewing machines and irons, then go to:
  • M&J Trimming

  • And for all of you who thought I was a saint for featuring that website on my blog, you're going to practically self-combust when I tell you about this. In case you haven't already read your Teen Vogue cover-to-cover, amidst $600 shoes and Burberry trench coats, someone was smart enough to feature this book: Sew U by Eviana Hartman. In this book it tells you how to create an entire wardrobe from scratch! Now all you girls who couldn't even afford to take a sewing class just have to shell out the money for this book and sewing machine and you can get started! I'm happy to announce that your new fall wardrobe will cost you under $20. For the sake of your savings account, but this book at:
  • Amazon: Sew U

  • Never fear! The list is not yet complete. I'll have more for you tomorrow. For now, I'm in deep need of a REM cycle.
    Sew long!
